Thursday, November 16, a 2nd Day of Sharing Retreat
The second Day of Sharing Retreat on Nov 16 will be much like the first one in July 2017. The idea was to take an extended time, the whole day, to share in-depth with our peers, our fellow colleagues involved in organizing for history organizations. We will share about challenges we face as leaders of our organizations. But more than challenges, the hope is to share solutions, insights, and what works best for us in getting good results.
The Day of Sharing Retreat on Nov 16 will be hosted by Carondelet Historical Society at their museum at 6303 Michigan Ave, St Louis, MO 63111. It will start at 8:30 am. At 11:30 we will break for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will select one topic to discuss in more depth. We will finish the day of sharing retreat by 4:00 pm. Again, it is Thursday, November 16 starting at 8:30 am. This event is free and is open to those who are on boards of historical organizations or otherwise are history organizers in the St Louis Regional area and surrounding counties, including St Charles and Illinois.
So we can get an estimate of attendance please RSVP to Stephen Hanpeter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
